Training Run #1
15th February
Join us for our first official QOTS training run, designed to help runners get familiar with the early miles of the official race route in a relaxed, supportive environment.
We’ll be running two route options that follow the opening section of the official course. WRE & Camino Ultra ambassadors will be spread throughout the group - at the front, middle, and back - to support runners of all paces and make sure no one is left behind.
You’re welcome to run as little or as much of the planned route as you like. You don’t need to be entered in the race to take part, and all paces are welcome.
Routes
Two route options will be available: 16.7km and 9.3km, both following the early miles of the official race course. This gives runners the chance to familiarise themselves with key sections of the route.
You’re welcome to run as little or as much as you like, and we recommend having the route downloaded to your watch or phone on the day.
Everything you need to know about the Training Runs

Open to everyone - you don’t need to be entered in the race to join. All paces are welcome, and runners are free to run as much or as little of the route as they like.
Pace & support
This is a social, inclusive training run, not a race. WRE & Camino Ultra ambassadors will be spread throughout the group (front, middle, and back) to help guide the run and support different paces.
