What roles could I help with? 

 

Start area 

• Providing lots of enthusiasm and cheer 

• Setting up registration desks and checking runners in. 

• Helping with the bag drops and answering runner queries. 

• Supporting in the start-line area. 

• Assisting with baggage drop off

Check point and water stations 

• Help with set up/break down of the station 

• Handing out water and snacks. 

• Keeping the aid station clean, well-stocked and organised. 

• Providing encouragement and motivation to runners

Marshals 

• Directing runners along the course. 

• Providing clear instructions and directions at critical junctures. 

• Watching out for any potential hazards and reporting them promptly. 

• Keeping the energy high and the atmosphere positive

Medals and finish area 

• Congratulating runners and making their finish special!  

• Handing out the well deserved medals

• Assisting with post-race refreshments and recovery. 

• Helping with baggage return

• Keeping the area tidy and supporting event break down
